Each year, All Saints' Church makes donations to three main charities/projects. A small Committee, comprising Peter Reynolds (Chairman), David Milne, Pat Kingsman, Joan See and Beth Haynes, manage this activity and make recommendations to the DCC. However, Missionary Giving has changed.

In previous years, the money given to chosen charities came from Pledged Giving, whereas from 2003 the money will come from the Church's fund raising activities, thus allowing the Church to plan its budget.

  
  Peter Reynolds, Chairman of the Missionary Giving Committee is presenting Claire Jones representing the Girl Guides with a cheque for £2,000 towards the Rebuilding of the Guide Hut which was recently destroyed by fire.  Peter Manley, Treasurer and Elizabeth Masser, Church Warden are alongside  
         
 

Last year, the Committee recommended the Maplewood School Pool Appeal, Downley; the Marlow District Guide Hut Building Appeal; and USPG Project 128, St Anne's Hospital, Nkhotakota , Malawi . The Church has donated £2,000 to each of these charities.

From 2000 when this Missionary Giving Committee was formed, until 2002, a total of £11,657.58 has been given to the following charities:

Zenzelini Wellness Centre, Telemed, The Children's Society, Youth Enquiry Service and The Church Urban Fund

At our next meeting, we will be selecting charities for support during 2004. If you have a particular charity you would like us to support in the future, please contact one of the Committee members or complete a form located beside the Missionary Giving Committee notice board at the back of the church.
