Encounter is a modern, relaxed style of service
for those who want a change from the traditional Communion
Service. It is suitable for families, although all are
welcome. There is a crèche for younger children (up to about
3) and older children (roughly 3 to 11) have their own activity.
Young people can join the service or the activities
of the older children according to preference. The service
lasts about 45 minutes and has songs, readings, prayers and
a significant teaching element in a variety of styles. Coffee
is served in the Church or church hall afterwards where there is an opportunity
to stay and chat. |
