What
is TimeOut?
Timeout is the sunday school
run by All Saints Church Marlow.
It runs every first, third, fourth and fifth Sunday
during the 9:30 service, starting in the church hall
and ending in the Church. It
also runs at 11:15 every first and third Sunday during
Encounter.
The church hall is
situated just next to the George and Dragon pub along
The Causeway before you reach the Church.
On the second
Sunday in the month, there is also a Family Eucarist
informal service in Church at 9:30 to which children
are welcome.
What do we do at
Timeout?
The idea
behind timeout is for children between the ages of 4-11
to come and have some fun whilst also learning about
God and his word. At the moment the group is split into
two. From 4-6 and 7-11. We are also trying to organise
a group for 11+ so if you are interested please do come
along!
We try to make the sessions very informal normally starting
off with a game or two together before separating off.
In the older group there is normally activities based
around a passage and then a bible reading, taken from
a children's bible and then a time for prayer.
In the younger group the focus is more on lighter games
and craft explaining God at a comprehendable level for
them.
If you would like any more
information please feel free to contact Sarah Coates
who is the organiser on (01628) 481676.
